Why you love your car/community: So in 2021 I got my corolla near the start of covid. At the time I had an interest in cars but not too significant in what I wanted to do. In 2021, later that year I got invited to a corolla club called EC3 or East Coast Corolla Club, from there I rose to be the VP and then eventually leaving to continue that legacy here. As the owner I plan to try to unite more of the corolla groups such as EC3, Midwest, and Club e210 along with the GR groups such as FL GR, or maybe in the future the Northern GR group. I can’t wait for what is next

Previous Car: 2017 Ford Fusion Fusion Sport
Why you love your car/community: I’ve always wanted a Corolla Hatch. After my fusion blew up and got totaled, I looked around a little bit and found this one at my local dealer. With not having a car I needed one fast and this felt like the perfect option. I got into the Corolla scene in Florida a few years ago with my sedan so I’ve lurked around in the EC3 for a while. I’m happy that there’s finally a Corolla club for the country, as being in Wisconsin for 3 years now I felt like EC3 was out of reach. You can find me on TikTok or Instagram (coleolla for both). I’m known to drive insane distances for meets so plan on seeing me at one somewhere east of the Mississippi!

Previous Car: 1998 Corolla 5MT Why you love your car/community: Sorry, this is long lol. What’s up everyone, many of yall may know me from the FB pages, IG or maybe even my YouTube channel. I grew up around cars my whole life, with my dad owning a couple of MR2s in my early years and then a few off road rigs when I was older, and the classic games like NFSU2, NFSMW, Gran Turismo and Midnight Club. I’ve been in the Corolla scene about 11 years, as of the creation of this post. I started off with a 98 Corolla 5 speed. Went through a few setups with that car and did an extensive amount of modifications to it, considering the aftermarket is nearly nonexistent. I learned a lot with that car, and it’s the one that got me into the local scene as well as the online Corolla community where I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a lot of people, and making a few close friends along the way. This is also the car that started my YouTube venture. In 2018, after seeing that red super street SEMA Corolla hatch all over social media and then driving one at my job, I decided that I needed one of these. May 2019 I finally purchased mine with 3k miles on it. Brought it home and for a few years I drove and worked on both cars. Sadly, I parted ways with the 8th gen in 2023 after it developed a few serious issues and I had to make some adult decisions, but the hatch is still going strong at 75k, thank God! A few small issues here and there but it’s never let me down, and it’s a blast to drive every time I get in the drivers seat. Yearly trips to the dragon since 2020 have been extremely fun and ripping it down backroads here in central Florida never disappoints. This platform has provided me so many opportunities like working with companies like AMT and GGP, tons of content on YouTube, making many friends in the community, and just having a fun low hp car to toss around corners and drive around. Honestly, the Corolla has been great to me thus far and although it’s not very spacious, it can fit a car seat lol; getting the baby used to cars already. Gotta give a huge thanks to my wife, who owns the black hatch I post sometimes, for always helping me stay motivated, stay focused and to stay involved in the community and keep the content going. Above all, I have to give thanks to God who has allowed me to have the opportunity to grow and be part of this awesome community.
I’ll include my parts list here, because we don’t gatekeep around here. Parts can also be found on my IG/youtube! Performance stuff (I think this is everything.)

Why I love the car/car community: I’ve always grown up around cars, they’ve always been a big part of my life. Seeing my step dad working on a new project every weekend in our drive way and helping. As I got older it became our way of bonding and I fell in love with modifying my first (only) car at 15. I love my car because she’s fun and practical at the same time. She also reliable, I’ve road-tripped her between California and Florida three times and counting.

Why you love your car/community: What’s up everyone I’m one of your two state ambassadors for TN! I got into cars at a young age. My parents (and myself still) are massive ford and Mustang fans so I started going to car shows and cruise ins at a young age. When I turned 18 and realized I was gonna go to college a Mustang wasn’t a practical choice and a focus RS was definitely gonna be high on insurance. So I started looking and found a manual 2019 Corolla hatchback in blue flame. I fairly quickly started modifying the car and fell in love with the import scene as well. Living close by to the tail of the dragon I also became a frequent flyer there. That is where I fell in love with driving and decided I wanted to try track driving. So when Toyota unveiled the GRC I knew I had to have one. I spent almost 2 years looking when I found my 2024 Premium and I’ve been in love ever since. I’ve spent many days at the tail of the dragon and I’ve been at two HPDE events with jzilla track days (preheat the petit and Friendsgiving). If anyone ever decides to do a dragon trip Im always down to be your local guide! Hope to see you guys in July!

Why you love your car/community: Back in June of 2020, I bought my XSE 6mt bc I needed something to replace my rapidly rotting Nissan Frontier. I didn’t plan to mod it at first but after seeing what people were doing to the platform, I caved and went all out. I had that car for 4 years and during that time, the GRC was announced and put into lots. I waited for a year or so to see if prices would come down and then in may of 2024, I found my 2023 GR Core on cars.com for a stellar price and decided to trade in the XSE. Since then, I havent really done much to the GR besides a K&N intake, AWE Track Edition catback, and a Megan Racing midpipe. I plan to do a few more things but not alot more as I’m pretty happy with the car as it sits and performs.
